The Ozark Mess kit does look like a cheap version of more expensive mess kits. But I do like it for its lightweight design. I’m not a fan of the cup that it comes with. (I’ll just use one of the Stanley cups) But for its price, weight, and compact design; I like using it for backpacking in the bush. One tip for this kit is to bring some small dish towels and pack them between the bowl and pot or the clanking sound will drive you crazy after a few hours. Plus, you can use the towel for drying up after clean up.
